THE 'ALL IN ONE' part-time vocational training for DJS
Getting started as a DJ yourself is quite a challenge. Technically it is not that difficult; the DJ sets are super advanced. If you intend to actually achieve something with it, it becomes more difficult: you have to be able to play all-round AND in your genre. You have to be up to date with the best tracks at all times, you have to be able to remix and edit, so basic skills in Ableton cannot be lacking either. And then you need to know how the music industry works, how best to promote yourself, and where to get the best gigs!
So our DJ Academy provides you with all the tools and handles you need to stand firm as a DJ in any situation. Within 6 months, you'll really learn everything you need to know, from respected industry professionals. You'll be taught in small groups or private lessons, and you'll get to come and practice on a professional set for 4 hours every week so you can also be sure you have enough practice.
Our teachers all have more than 15 years of experience. They share their knowledge with love! You save a whole lot of time, and frustration as a result!

WHAT'S IN THE CURRICULUM?
We know from experience that just giving good lessons is not enough to get the best results. You also need to be able to practice and gain experiences optimally. We facilitate these necessary aspects as best we can in this course. With our versatile teaching package, we offer you all the tools and handles you need to stand firm as a DJ in any situation!
If you also want to learn to spin well in your genre, it is also very important that you get lessons from an instructor who specializes in it. So with us you also get private lessons in your favorite genre.

WHY STUDY AT THE MTM DJ ACADEMY?
Getting good DJs is a big problem in the club scene right now. Many people call themselves DJs, but do not possess the right skills to put down a good set. A successful performance requires thorough preparation, being able to assess your audience, fully understanding your DJ hardware and choosing the right tracks at the right time. You also need to master entrepreneurial skills such as reviewing contracts, building business relationships, billing and filing tax returns. You also need to know how to handle social media and how to best profile yourself in the music industry.
In short, the life of a DJ is a challenging mix of technology, creativity and entrepreneurship and there's a whole lot more to it than just spinning a few records.... That's why we have incorporated all these important elements into our training so that you will be fully prepared for any scenario. So we don't just work on your skills behind the turntable, but on all the skills you need to be successful as a modern DJ.

DJ Academy training starts in September and February with a set day of classes during the week from which you can choose.

Classes are held in Hilversum and Antwerp 3 minutes walk from the train station. You can park for free in front of the door.

1 lesson per week (3 hours) + homework, practice (ideal: 6 hours per week)

We may not be the cheapest, but you will easily recoup that because you will be ready in one go.
The price for the whole year including all extras such as practice sessions and club sessions is €3495.
PAY IN INSTALLMENTS
You can also pay this in installments. This goes as follows:
You pay € 1395,- Within 6 weeks but no later than 4 weeks before the start. You are now guaranteed your spot.
You pay in 6 monthly installments of €350 from the beginning of the first month.
SUBSIDIES
